Moving On

For some of you, this may be old news. For some of you, it is new news. Hey, no complaining....no matter how you look at it, it's news!

We're moving! (You know, to that OTHER college town.) When? We don't know for sure. Why? To help our church plant a church. Does Eric have a job there? No (we'd appreciate your prayers on that one). Have you sold your duplex and home? YES! Since listing our homes in January, we have sold one and the other is sale pending! As exciting as that is, it also means that on May 14, our closing date, we become indefinitely homeless.

Are we crazy? Definitely yes. Are we crazy for the right reasons? Definitely yes. Is it stressful? Definitely yes.

God is strong when our strength is gone. God gives faith to those who ask for it. I'm weak and I'm asking.

When people see us uprooting our family of six with no tangible place to go and no job, they will think we are crazy. And when God works it out, they will see HE IS GREAT!

God, may your kingdom come in that OTHER college town.

I'm going to pack some boxes....

Congrats on the sale pending and especially on no more keeping the house clean for showings!

Hey Holly, my mom told me you guys were moving. That is so exciting! We don't think you guys are crazy at all and are so excited to hear about how God moves in Iowa City. Of course this is coming from people who left a good job to move to the other side of the world. So maybe we're just crazy too, but it IS for the right reason! We'll be praying for a good job. Love you guys!

Holly -let us know when you are coming over. We would love to hang out. Arants and Grabers are within a few minutes of us. We are in N. Liberty.

Can't wait for you to come - We hadn't heard any for sure news on you so this confirms it!

Hey, I had no idea you guys were moving to Iowa City. That's going to be great for you guys. Way to obey God and take a leap of faith. I'm really sad, however, that you won't be in Ames when we're there every now and again. I'm really excited for what is going to happen in Iowa City. Love you guys.
